How do you test a gas line for leaks?
We use a pressure drop test. We cap the line, fill it with air pressure, and wait. If the gauge drops, there is a leak. We then use electronic sniffers and soap solutions to find the exact spot.

A gas leak is a serious emergency. Over time, the threaded joints on black iron pipes can loosen, or flexible appliance connectors can crack if bumped repeatedly. We systematically isolate sections of your gas system to find the exact point of failure and replace the compromised fittings.
When this service makes sense
Once the main supply is secured, we pump compressed air into the gas system and monitor a pressure gauge. We isolate branches until the gauge stops dropping, then locate the specific joint. We dismantle the pipe, apply new gas-rated thread sealant, reassemble, and perform a final pressure test.
