Every water filtration system relies on consumable cartridges or media that eventually become saturated with contaminants. When filters exceed their lifespan, they not only stop purifying the water, but they can restrict water pressure and become breeding grounds for bacteria. Regular replacement is mandatory for safe water.
When this service makes sense
We shut off the supply, depressurize the housings, and use specialized wrenches to open stubborn filter sumps. We sanitize the inside of the housings, insert fresh carbon blocks, sediment spun filters, or RO membranes, and check the system for leaks upon repressurization.

Why is my RO tank heavy but no water comes out?
The internal air bladder in the storage tank likely lost its pressure. We can often repressurize it during a filter change service without replacing the tank.
