When a water softener stops functioning, hard water rushes back into your home, immediately undoing its benefits. Common issues include failed control valve motors, clogged injectors, or massive salt bridges in the brine tank. We diagnose the mechanical and hydraulic parts of the system to get it regenerating correctly again.
When this service makes sense
We manually trigger a regeneration cycle to observe the system in action. We check the venturi valve for suction, inspect the brine line for clogs, and break up any salt bridging. If the digital head is malfunctioning, we test the motor and piston assembly to identify the failed component.

What is a salt bridge?
It is a hard crust of salt that forms across the tank, leaving empty space below. The water never touches the salt, so no brine is created. We can safely break it up.
